Pastor Derrick M. White - Biography
Pastor Derrick M. White is known as one of God's "Spiritual Reformers" for the 21st century generation. In 1993, Derrick answered the call of God and established the ministry of Fellowship of Love Christian Center and wholeheartedly committed to the role of pastor and teacher. Fellowship of Love Christian Center (FOLCC) is a non-denominational congregation that is committed to fulfilling the commission of the church......"Go ye into all the world and teach all nations, baptizing them in the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you..."
Pastor Derrick is recognized by many for his compassionate heart towards others. The grace in his life is special to say the least. He has touched many lives both young and young at heart. God has anointed him with a special touch that can reach the fatherless. Recognizing this unique grace in his life, Pastor Derrick has established a special ministry of mentoring that is designed to bless lives of all ethnicities and cultures. Many youth of all ages have been encouraged, transformed and saved through this powerful ministry service.
Pastor Derrick is also a highly anointed teacher. He established the Apostolic School of Ministry (A.S.O.M.) in 1998. Through this Christian Educational facet many students of ministry are blessed with professional ministry training and provided much instruction for success in Kingdom service. Students are trained in the areas of effective ministry that will better prepare them for excellence in service and proficiency in serving the Body of Christ. Through the ministry of A.S.O.M. many students receive ministerial credentials and begin active service with excellence in the Kingdom of God. Pastor Derrick has helped many believers to identify their spiritual gifts and thereafter pursue the purpose of God in their life with fervency.
Pastor Derrick earned an Associates of Arts degree, Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Finance and currently fulfilling the requirements to obtain his Master of Arts in Religion. He has worked successfully in Corporate America in many industries. His professional background consists of occupations in Hospital healthcare, Banking and Insurance. Because of Pastor Derrick's financial management and expertise, he often speaks at financial seminars and provides financial consultation for better financial success and wealth.
In many ways, Pastor Derrick can be likened unto the prophet Elijah. He is faithful, obedient and committed to the voice of the Lord. His perseverance and boldness in the Lord has prompted many signs and wonders to follow his ministry. The prophetic and apostolic anointing is evident in his life and he truly lives the life he preaches about......HOLINESS!
